Probate & Trust Administration

When  someone passes……………

Rarely does the rest of this thought finish with a positive sentiment. Things don’t need to be worse with the complications of a poorly handled administration of your loved one’s affairs.

When someone dies, their estate should be effectively and properly administered to address

– disputes or misunderstandings among heirs

– subsequent ownership claims

– tax considerations

– creditor items

-avoidance unnecessary costs

Certain tax filings, disclaimers and other elections must be registered within 9 months of death.  Even with smaller estates, typically assets must be discovered and transferred, tax returns must be filed, creditors must be notified, along with many other housekeeping type tasks.

Jim Marino can lead you to settle the estate with all issues resolved, liability exposure covered and the will of the decedent fulfilled.
